For those of you who haven’t heard of the Cosmoprof, well the Cosmoprof it’s one of the biggest international event  related to beauty and cosmetics. Of course as a “nail polish-addicted” that I am, I couldn’t miss this event. African style manicure

The manicure I will show you today it’s inspired by one of my favorite accessorize: my African clutch. This clutch is not only special to me because it’s coming from South Africa, but also because it’s a very very special gift.

So since it’s been a while that I have thought to make a manicure to match it, here it is:IMG_4868

To achieve this manicure I have used the technique called “Dotticure” using the tool called dotter (you can find it in my first post Carnival Party Nails )

The nail polished I used are the following (from left to right):

  • KIKO – n.514 Caffè dorato
  • KIKO – n.279 Giallo
  • COLOR CLUB – I always get my man-darin
  • KIKO – n.418 Metallic cooper
  • OPI – Teal the cows come home
  • SORBET – Milky way
  • MAVALA – n.134 Caftan blue
  • OPI – You are so outta lime
  • OPI – Life gave me lemons
  • SORBET – Pony tail

I must say that I am quite happy with the result of this manicure 🙂 So I will let you with another snap of it

Hope you have enjoyed it and if you would like to try it as well, I would be more than happy to see your creation 🙂

Lots of love from my Pink Cloud!

Spring Vibes

Spring is coming in Milan and we’ve been lucky to have such lovely sunny days lately. So what better occasion for a nail art inspired by Spring!

For this manicure I have used KARGI GIANLUCA GRILLO nail polishes.IMG_4398 insta

The color base is:

  • n.09 Pesca.

The Top Coat is:

  • Gloss Trasparente n.000

I would like to tell you a bit more about KARGI nail polishes. These nail polishes are not only cool because of the long lasting effect, but they are cool also because they dry quite fast and the finish is so shiny and smooth like the gel effect. The brush is large and flat and it’s so easy to achieve a perfect manicure just in a few minutes. And the most important: these nail polishes are Formaldehyde FREE.

If you are interested in trying KARGI nail polishes take a look at the range of colors in their online shop: and take advantage of my personalized coupon code adri20 to have 20% off your order 😉

Back to the manicure 🙂  to give the spring vibes I used these lovely small (real) flowers called Gypsophila.IMG_4412

I hope you have enjoyed this “splash” of Spring!

Lots of love from my Pink Cloud!

When the sun goes down…

My second post is about something else than nail art and nail polishes, something else that makes my Pink Could more pinkish. And this “something else” is the sunset. I love nature and I think that the sunset is one of the most spectacular shows, that nature gives us for free. How cool is that 🙂

Back to the topic of the post: when the sun goes down… and not just anywhere, but in Cape Town (and around), a very special place for me (but about that, maybe I will tell you more another time).

The first sunset, I am sharing with you,  is my very first sunset in Cape Town, the first day of my first time in South Africa. I took this picture at the beach in Table View.IMG_1964.JPG

The second sunset is from the Lion’s Head and the hike up there it was totally worth it.IMG_3042IMG_3400

The next sunset is from Small Bay beach and it is one of the best I have ever seen and one of the most special, that I will never forget 🙂IMG_3821IMG_3812

In the picture below, this amazing sunset is from Arninston, a small fishermen village, not far from the southernmost tip of the African continent.20160619_053606717_iOS

The sunset coming next is from Signal Hill. If you will ever be in town (Cape Town 😛 ) grab a bottle of wine and go up the Signal Hill with your special one.20150919_163332359_iOS

Another cool spot to admire the sunset in Cape Town, it is the Cape Wheel, where I took the next picture. The view around the city is breathtaking.15781298_10210586292606699_3628293869100436323_n

But I must say that during my stays in Cape Town, I was quite lucky to stay in a place with a great view over the Table Mountain and to have breathtaking sunsets every day. Below are some of them (I wish I could share all of them with you, but it would be an endless post)20151009_163859309_iOS16107294_10210759873866122_7987490043632949042_o15894225_10210630560673373_7220321955160385816_nIMG_268520150917_165910654_iOS

Last but not least, another very special sunset. The last I had the chance to admire at Small Bay beach, during my last travel in Cape Town. This sunset makes me feel so nostalgic, that feeling that in Italian is called “Mal d’Africa”.20161227_174823516_iOS

Before saying goodbye I would like to point out that all the pictures are as I took them, without any kind of filter.

I hope you have enjoyed this “Sunset tour” around Cape Town through my memories!

Lots of love from my Pink Cloud!

Carnival Party Nails

It’s Carnival time in Milan and what better theme for my first post than the Carnival!

This colorful Carnival manicure will turn my Pink Cloud into a sparkling rainbow 🙂

This manicure is quite easy and quick to achieve and as following you will find the nail polishes and the tools I have used to do it.

  • Ciaté London PPMG017 Boudoir – 2016 Mini Mani Month – Advent Calendar
  • Ciaté London PPM065 Big Yellow Taxi  – 2014 Mini Mani Month – Advent Calendar
  • Ciaté London PPMG136 Pool Party – 2016 Mini Mani Month – Advent Calendar
  • Ciaté London PPMG287 Chain Reaction – 2016 Mini Mani Month – Advent Calendar
  • Ciaté London PPMG263 Pretty in Putty – 2016 Mini Mani Month – Advent Calendar
  • Ciaté London PPMG280 Seas the Day – 2016 Mini Mani Month – Advent Calendar

Ciatè London is one of my favorite nail polish brand and I think 40% of my nail polishes are Ciaté. I found these nail polishes quite good and I am in love with that cute bow ♥

  • Top Coat – F.U.N. LACQUER Diamond Holo Top Coat

This holy holo top coat is one of the latest additions to my collection and honestly I don’t know how I’ve done before without it!  It gives “life” even to the most plain nail polish shade!

In the picture below, there is the tool I’ve used to achieve this manicure: the dotter.

From its name it is quite easy to guess that this tool is used for the dots.

It’s so far one of most used tool I use when I do my nails 🙂

Before saying good bye, one more snap of my colorful nails:

I really hope you have enjoyed my first post!

Stay tuned for the next one 🙂

Lots of love from my Pink Cloud!
